I’ve always been interested in textile processes, including the aspect of sustainability. Being a tailor is the foundation of my career, now followed by current studies on Design Engineering at the University of Applianced Science Niederrhein. The combination of technology and craftsmanship is my major interest, with a specialisation on textiles.
STEFAN ECKERT
During the three years of my apprenticeship at the fashion label Stefan Eckert I learned in particular to manufacture different kinds of leather and cashmere goods.
To assist with customer fittings and pattern making gave me an insight into product development.
Organising lookbook shootings and company events was a new and exiting experiance besides tailoring.
It was defining to work in this great team.
LEDERLADEN ALTONA
I develop and produce accessories in cooperation with leather specialists of a manufactory in Hamburg. Using and combing different kinds of materials is challenging me. For more details see »projects«.
